Hi everyone, great to see that there is a health and fitness community on dreamwidth!
One of my health goals is to eat fish at least twice a week. The problem: it has to be very cheap, and it has to be very easy to prepare, because I'm not much of a chef.
So far I'm eating a lot of canned fish, like herring, mackerel and tuna, and I also eat single serving frozen salmon, which I bake in the oven for 20 minutes, and don't spice or garnish in any way, and I think it might get pretty boring to continue like this.
Do you have any easy and cheap fish recipes for one person?

Hi! I'd like a bit of a discussion post.
Does anyone else have a weight loss journal?
I feel like it helps me keep motivation when I need it the most.
I'd love to be added, btw!

Hi, I'm one of your friendly co-moderators here. I have a question.
I'm trying to get in the habit of working out 5 times a week (my doctor's orders, not mine), and I want to do exercises that strengthen my core muscles, my abs.
The only problem is I hate hate hate floor exercises. I hate exercises that make me lie down on the ground. Even with a mat. I guess it makes me really conscious about my size and my smallness in the world or something. I don't know.
However, I would still like to exercise my core as effectively as possible. Surely variations of crunches aren't the only ways to do that, right? *crosses fingers*
Does anyone have any good suggestions on effective standing exercises for your core?

Hello everyone!
I figured it couldn't hurt to start off with a question.
Do you exercise? If so, what do you like to do?
